WEST 38TH & ASBURY WATERLINE PROJECT
The Authority received bids on May 17, 2011. The project was awarded to McLallen Construction Company. The project will start later this summer. The project consists of 1,144 lineal feet of 12” and 8" D.I.P. waterlines in Asbury Road and West 38th Street. There is a 53 foot bore under West 38th Street in the PennDOT State Highway.
These installations will loop waterline interconnections and will improve service to customers in that area. The Authority will be able to eliminate a booster station located on Patio Drive. Construction costs are estimated at $98,000. The total estimated cost** of the project is $112,900.
