ARBUCKLE ROAD SEWER PROJECT PHASE 3
The Authority has awarded the contract for the Arbuckle Sewer Extension to Chivers Construction Company. Construction on the sewer lines has been completed. Sewers were extended on Arbuckle Road from Lake Pleasant Road to Footmill Road. A sewer lift station will be constructed near Footmill Road. That portion of the project has been awarded to Pollard Land Services and will start in August. Construction costs are estimated at $374,000 and the total estimated cost** of the project is $500,000.
SOUTH SHORE INTERCEPTOR SEWER PROJECT
The Authority is now taking bids for the South Shore Interceptor Sewer Project. The project consists of the removal of a meter vault, the installation of 56 lf of 21" PVC sewer, the installation of 2 manholes, and restoration. The estimated cost of construction is $50,000.
MINER HILL SUBDIVISION SEWER PROJECT
The design for this project is underway and the project should be ready to bid later this fall. Sewers will be extended on Lake Pleasant Road from Arbuckle Road to serve the Miner Hill Subdivision. The total estimated cost** of the project is $730,000.
WOODSHIRE SUBDIVISION SEWER PROJECT
The design for this project is underway and the project should be ready to bid late this year or sometime in the winter 2012. Sewers will be extended from Old Sterrettania Road to serve the Woodshire Subdivision. The total estimated cost** of the project is $950,000.
** Total estimated costs include construction, engineering, administrative, legal, and misc. costs.
